These Rules apply when You play the Irish Lotto Game. The Islands Lotto Terms and Conditions (the Terms), the Lottery Betting Rules and the Lottery Operator’s Rules apply in addition to these Rules.
1 Playing Irish Lotto
1.1 Irish Lotto lottery is managed by the Irish National Lottery and usually takes place on Wednesday and Saturday evenings in Ireland at approximately 20:00, unless there are exceptional circumstances.
1.2 You can place a Bet on Irish Lotto as late as the time announced in the Islands Lotto site before that night’s draw.
1.3 To play Irish Lotto, You should fill in the interactive play slip for Irish Lotto. Choose 6 numbers from the main pool of 1–47. You can also select the Lucky Dip option and this will choose a line for you randomly. Once you have chosen your numbers, select which draw you want to play, either Wednesday, Saturday or both, the number of weeks and press Play.
1.4 Once your bet has been accepted it will be shown as “Confirmed” in Your “Account” section. If the bet status is “Pending” your bet has not been placed, if your bet remains in a pending state for more than five minutes contact Islands Lotto Support.

Calculating Irish Lotto Winnings
2.3 After the Irish Lotto results are announced, winnings are calculated and uninsured prizes will be transferred to your Player Account. You will be notified by email or phone call in the event that you win an insured prize before any funds are applied to your account.This usually happens within 24 hours of the Draw.
2.4 Islands Lotto calculates the Winnings for each Bet according to section 3 of the Lottery Betting Rules.
2.5 Results can be checked on the Islands Lotto website, and independently via the Irish National Lottery website.
2.6 All winnings generated by your Irish Lotto bet will be paid to you equal to 100% of the total winnings as published on the Islands Lotto website (subject to change in the event of any technical faults identified in the systems of Islands Lotto or any third party systems used to generate prize amounts), after deduction of local taxes and any applicable administration fees. Payment Process
2.7 Winnings in Tier 1 and 2 will be paid directly to you after funds have been received from our Insurance Partner according to the Lottery Betting Rules published on this site.

2.8 The maximum jackpot that can be won when placing a Bet in Irish Lotto through the Islands Lotto site is as advertised on the Irish National Lottery website, less any deductions and administration fees see Lottery Betting Rules. This is a pool bet meaning the jackpot is shared if there are multiple winners, see lottery betting rules for example winning illustrations.
2.8.1 The maximum jackpot that can be won in Tier 2 when placing a Bet in Irish Lotto through the Islands Lotto site is £1 million, less any deductions and administration fee see Lottery Betting Rules. If the Underlying Lottery exceeds this amount, Islands Lotto will only announce the Tier 2 prize cap. Administration Fee
2.9 Islands Lotto may, at its discretion, apply a 1% administration fee on the payout of tier 1 and 2 prizes.
What currency payments are made in
2.10 All Winnings are usually paid in the same currency of your bet, but may, at our discretion, be paid in an alternative major currency such as Euros, or Pound Sterling.
3 Game Closure
3.1 Islands Lotto has the right to announce the closing date and time for the Irish Lotto Game at any time. No Bets for this Game will be sold after the closing date and time. The closing date and time will be accessible on the Site.
