Account Verification

When do we require further documentation?

As a company licensed by the Jersey Gambling Commission, Islands Lotto must abide by Gambling and Financial laws by performing security and verification checks to protect our customers as do all regulated operators.

When certain limits and thresholds are reached on our customers accounts, we are required to request further documentation.

We may also from time to time request additional information or updated copies of documents already provided.

Below is a list of documents that we may need to ask you to submit when your spending or withdrawals reach certain levels. All documents should be clearly readable with all four corners visible (no partial documents will be accepted).

Please note that we do not accept screenshots unless specifically requested by our support team, so pictures of real documents or official downloaded PDFs only please!

For identity verification you can use our online tool for uploading either your Drivers Licence or Passport. The tool will guide you through the process of scanning your Identity document on your mobile device so that it is easy for our support team to review and process.

DRIVING LICENCE

Your driving licence must show your full name (the one registered on your account), your date of birth, and a clear photograph of your face. Your licence must be fully valid, in date and signed.

Your passport must show your full name, your date of birth, and your country. Your passport should be fully valid and in date with the expiry date clearly visible.

UTILITY BILL

You may verify your address with a utility bill, such as a gas, electricity, water, oil or telephone bill. The bill must not be more than three months old and should clearly show your name and address which must match what is registered in your account.

Please note that we do not accept mobile only telephone bills, telephone bills must have a landline component to prove your address.

DEBIT CARD

We may need to see the front and back of the debit card you have used to pay into your Islands Lotto account.
For security reasons, you must blank out the middle eight digits of the long number on the front of the card leaving the first four and last four digits visible.
Please also make sure that the CVV code on the back of your card is also blanked out.

Please also note that you should not use credit cards to pay funds into your Islands Lotto account.

BANK STATEMENT

Your bank statement should correspond to the bank account into which you wish to have your Islands Lotto winnings paid into (this must not be a business bank account).

The date of issue (which should be within three months), your full name, your home address, bank account number and sort code must be clearly visible.

Your statement should show a transaction being paid to Islands Lotto on it made by your debit card. If you need to make a withdrawal before you have received a statement with an Islands Lotto transaction on it please contact our support team and they will ask for additional details from you which may include images of your debit card and/or arranged screenshots from your online banking showing the Islands Lotto transactions.

For the purposes of verifying ownership of your bank account we are not interested in who your money is paid to so if you wish you can blank out the narrative parts of your statement transactions - except the Islands Lotto ones.

AFFORDABILITY / SOURCE OF FUNDS
